Een bankrekening openen in Turkije

Het is van essentieel belang om in Turkije over een bankrekening te kunnen beschikken indien periodieke betalingen aldaar plaatsvinden. Voor het openen van een dergelijke rekening dient men persoonlijk langs te gaan om formulieren in te vullen. De bank zal over een aantal bescheiden moeten beschikken, zoals uit het navolgende blijkt:

Natural Persons:

Natural Persons of Turkish Nationality:
ID Card or driver's license or Passport specimen;
Residence Certificate or invoice issued for utility services requiring subscription, not older than 3 months, or a certificate issued by any public organization;
Tax ID No.

Natural Persons of Foreign Nationality:
Passport specimen or Residence Certificate;
Residence Certificate or invoice issued for utility services requiring subscription, not older than 3 months, or any other Certificate issued by any public organization (Turkish or foreign) if the passport does not bear address information;
Tax ID No.

Legal Persons:

Legal Persons of Turkish Nationality:
Trade Registry Gazette;
Tax Registration Certificate;
List of authorized signatures;
Photocopies of the ID cards of shareholders and managers.

Legal Persons of Foreign Nationality:
For legal persons residing abroad, notarized Turkish translations of the copies of documents which correspond with documents required for legal persons domiciled in Turkey, in their country of residence, as certified by Consulates of the Republic of Turkey or as apostilled by the authority of the State party under the framework of "The Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents" are required.
